WHATS INCLUDED?

The price includes staff, tables, chairs, cutlery, the use of our Funktion-One sound system, a fully stocked bar, beautiful views and the exclusive use of an ancient cotswold barn.

WHAT IS THE EVENT FEE?

The Event Fee includes 2 drinks and 3 different canapes during the reception - this is a required fee as there are a couple of operational costs involved!

CAN WE HAVE A CIVIL WEDDING?

Yes, we are licensed for up to 120 guests in the Threshers Barn and up to 150 in the Long Barn.

CAN WE HAVE A CHURCH WEDDING?

There are lots of churches local to Old Gore, so if you choose to get married in a church, you can still use the barn as your venue for your reception, wedding breakfast and evening party.

WHAT IS YOUR CLOSING TIME?

Many venues will close at 11pm, just when everyone is really enjoying the party. At Old Gore your hire period runs until midnight, so it's only then that your music will stop and the bar will close.

WHAT IS YOUR DINING CAPACITY?

Maximum capacity is 150 for ceremony and meal.
Additional evening guests welcome.


CAN WE INVITE ADDITIONAL EVENING GUESTS?

There is room for an additional 50 guests in the evening, for drinks, evening food and dancing so a total of 200 people can dance the night away.
 

DO YOU HAVE OUTDOOR HEATERS?

We have outdoor fire pits for guests to keep warm (or toast marshmallows).

ARE THE BARNS WARM?

We know all too well that the English weather is a bit hit and miss! The barns have underfloor heating and there is a roaring log burner and candles for both warmth and atmosphere.

DO YOU HAVE ON-SITE ACCOMMODATION?

While there is no accommodation on site, there is plenty of excellent accommodation very nearby so your guests will have no problem getting to and from the wedding. Please see our Accommodation page for recommendations. 

WHAT DO WE DO ABOUT MUSIC?

There are several options for music. You are welcome to plug in your own playlist (we have a state of the art Funktion-One sound system), you could have a DJ, a live band or indeed a combination of all three.

CAN WE BRING OUR OWN FLOWERS?

The barn is yours for the day and you can decorate it with flowers; we also have our own decoration packages to get you started, and a list of trusted local suppliers.

CAN WE USE OUR OWN CATERERS? 

Food is a key element of Yardspace and we are passionate about delivering all our events to an extremely high standard, as a result we take care of all food and drink in-house.

WHAT IF I DONT WANT STREET FOOD?

If street food is not your thing then you can upgrade to the Fire Menu and treat your guests to steak & chips or ASADO lamb.

DO YOU OFFER CORKAGE?

No however we offer excellent wine brought directly from the producer for just £23 a bottle. 
 

CAN WE CHANGE DETAILS AFTER WE HAVE AGREED THE QUOTE AND BOOKED OUR DATE?

This is your day. Whether you pick up the phone or check real-time changes to your initial quote using our intuitive online platform, we are on hand right up until the day itself to help you with anything you want or need. Changes can be made right up until four weeks before your wedding.

WHAT HAPPENS IF MY EVENT IS CANCELLED?

On rare occasions a guest will need to cancel their event. We recommend that you get wedding insurance in case of unforeseeable circumstances.
